FishEUTrust Platform: End-to-End Traceability and Data-Driven Insights for Seafood

FishEUTrust is an European Union funded innovation project (Grant Agreement 101060712) which is duly focused on complying with the respect to privacy regulations. This notice details how we process your personal data when you visit https://feut.belit.co.rs/feut-ui-platform/#/. The data controller of this website, that is to say, the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data is Belit ltd.

In compliance with the European data regulation (General Data Protection Regulation), we will explain below all the items that you should be aware about the data we collect by using the "FishEUTrust Platform: End-to-End Traceability and Data-Driven Insights for Seafood".

1. What data do we collect

We only collect the following data:

• Identity and Contact Data: Your name, surname and email address. You do not have to provide your name and your surname as you may use a nickname for signing into the platform, but you have to provide us with an email address in order to be able to complete the signing up process.
• Technical Data: IP address, and browser type.

2. How do we collect data

We collect your data:

• When you sign up for being able to access the platform. As explained above, you have to provide us with a user name and an email.
• We use analytics tools to know the use of the platform. Your IP number and your browser type will be collected through this means.

3. What is the legal basis we have to use your data

We use your data because you consent it. Without your consent, we cannot use your data.

4. What is our purpose to use your data

We use your data for

• Providing you with a service. This service consists in following fish batches traceability.
• Signing up in the platform.
• Improving our platform.

5. Sharing Your Data and international transfers

We do not share your data except with the European Commission, if required so. Remember that we are a research project funded by the European Union and we are bound by European laws. Not sharing your data implies that we do not transfer your data internationally.

6. Data Retention

We have a strict policy about your personal data.The deletion of an account does not mean that the fish batches data introduced by the account will be deleted. Fish batch data is not personal data and therefore is not regulated by personal data laws.

7. What are your rights, how and when you can exercise them

You have to following rights:

• You can access your data.
• You can request corrections or deletion.
• You can object to processing your data or restrict it.
• You can withdraw your consent.
